My name is Elizabeth Papaleo and I paint with oils and draw with colored pencils.
Basically, I am a self-taught artist and have been painting/drawing and exhibiting for about ten years. Although I have always been interested in art, I didn’t begin until I met an artist who gave me some pointers and helped me develop my style.
I have taken a few classes and studied with Rosa Montante and Patricia Tribistone, who both teach the “old masters” style and Debbie Verholst who teaches colored pencil botanicals.
I belong to the Irondequoit Art club, here in Irondequoit, NY, where I reside and work part-time at Aman’s Farm and Market. This is where I get my fl oral inspirations.
My pieces have been shown at our local art club shows, where I have won a merit award for a still life. Also have shown at the Legacy Home, Chapel Oaks Home, Maplewood Y and Silver Lake Institute gallery in Perry, NY
